Chris’s work takes him around the world in search of wildlife, requiring camera gear that can adapt to every journey. The FJORD 50 provides the right amount of space, protection and durability needed for longer expeditions and demanding environments, while the lightweight AERO 12 offers a versatile option for carrying essential camera gear on shorter outings. Together, they give Chris the flexibility to travel comfortably and stay ready for whatever wildlife encounters come his way.

Expandable Capacity Design

The FJORD 50-C is a versatile and expandable 40L to 50L backpack.

" What an amazing camera backpack. The best I've had, and I've had quite a few over the years. For me the best thing is that it is lightweight and versatile. I can add bits to it - such as the Fjord 6 Toploader, or the Assistant Pouch, and take elements off it when I don't need them. I spend half of my year travelling for wildlife - whether looking for whales in Mexico's Baja California, leopards and wild dogs in Zambia's Luangwa Valley, penguins in the Antarctic or bears in Finland - so I need to change my set up depending on where I am going and what I am going to be doing when I am out in the field.

It is a backpack with a frame. This is great for some applications and not for others, but it is super easy to remove if necessary (and of course put back). In fact most elements seem to be removeable - the shoulder straps (left, right or both) and the waist strap. And, when it's paired with either a large (or a medium) RCI, and an XS RCI which fits easily in the top section of the backpack, it is simply unbeatable.  "

" The XS RCI can of course be used independently of the backpack and carried either on its own or in an Aero 12 Shoulder Bag - making the whole system even better. In fact it is this which I like more than anything about the Nya-Evo system... everything is useable with everything else which is versatility at its best. "
